Geekfest is a celebration of all things geek, including sci-fi, video games, movies, comics, steampunk, costumes, robots, and much more! The event kicks off at 6pm Friday, August 17 and runs until midnight, then starts up again Saturday August 18 at noon with primarily kids activities until 5pm and runs until the video game contest ends. Geekfest is free of charge-the only thing you pay for is admission to the dome, entry into contests, and items you purchase. All proceeds benefit the CTC Student Ambassador program.

We will begin selling wristbands for all dome events (including Rocky Horror, video game tourney finals, Film Challenge winners, movies and shows) this Friday, August 3! Tickets will be sold at the Mayborn Planetarium & Space Theater during regular weekend business hours (Fri 6-9pm, Sat 11am-4pm, Sun 1:30-4pm) Aug 3-5 & 10-12.
