Post subject:  need help with short film

as most of you know i'm trying to get funding for event omega but i first i'm gonna make a short film to show possable investors. I would like eveyone that is involved with event omega to help out on this but since i have no money and no resources i am asking for help with...

getting a camera
editing to dvd
lighting
special f/x
sound equipment
and a place to shoot

unfortunatlly i can not pay for any of this so i was wondering if people can help me by letting me borrow this stuff for free.

as far as the actors go i would like all the same poeple that are going to avt in event omega to be in this.

thanks in advance

ok......since you are making a short film (im guess anywhere from 10-20mins) you can use a regular VCD (converted .avi to standard CD format that DVD players can play) or hell just leave it on a regular .avi file too just incase.

for special fx???? what do you mean

i, for one, have no idea what you're talking about. (about the whole omega thing, not the what-you-need part.)

VCD format? Great idea. While you're at it, include a handwritten resume on a greasy napkin. Same effect.

Hey Kev, since I am no longer wishing for your demise, if you want me to, I will still play in your movie. If you have found a replacement for me, that's cool. Just let me know either way.

I'll be all in for doing it, just figure out which part you want me for, lol. I can't really help out with the money thing, or the objects thing, but definintely for the actors thing.

SVCD is only about 66% DVD quality, just in resolution. When you factor in a/v bitrates, it's definitely lower. Of course, on a standard TV you wouldn't really see the difference. It might be a bit cheaper on CD, but we could get DVDs for about $.33 each.

I'm still in for acting and make-up artistry. You still have all that zombie shit you and I got at the Bazaar? I can make some creepy zombies, although I'd like it if you could put together several movies with notes about what kind of zombies you want. (as in: from which movies) that way I can put together some make-up sketches to show you. I'm guessing you already have all of the movies that that would entail, so I'd need to borrow them. Don't worry, I won't hurt "your precious"

Oh ho! As if your antiquated necromancy could POSSIBLY stand up to my scientifically-enhanced cyber-mutant army. They are so totally different from zombies in every way, because they have cool Terminator eyes.
