Post subject:  Howard Dean Photo Highlights
Along with Lindsay and David, I was at the rally in San Antonio on Monday. After noticing that the security was pretty relaxed, I just kind of wandered into the roped off photographer's section right in front of the stage and then nobody ever bothered to throw me out of there...:lol: So I had a freaking blast rubbing elbows with the "real" photographers, drooling over expensive Canon equipment, and listening to Howard Dean's speech from about six feet away. I even got directed over to the press conference area by security afterwards, but had to leave that early since I was starting to worry about the bus leaving for Austin without me...:shock: At any rate, I decided to just post the photo highlights below instead of doing a regular gallery. Enjoy.

Margaux and Paige were there, I had to work. Anywho I heard the rally was "frinking Awesome" and that there were wonderfull things said about civil rights and healthcare. BTW the pics are "frinking awesome" too.

Ok, I know that I am not really into politics, so I don't know anything about any of the cantidates running for office, but this Dean guy looks nice. He has very friendly eyes and a warm smile. Anyways, now that I look stupid...

Thanks for the fotos Shawn. They'll be going after him with all the typical dirty tricks. You might consider sending some of them to info@deanfortexas.com -- ATTN: Glen Maxey. I'm sure he'd appreciate such fine work on your part. You might even get a real press pass next time!

This thread was actually already linked directly from the Dean For Texas web site, oddly enough...8) You can still see it there under the heading "Dean Rocks Austin and San Antonio! Thousands Roar at San Antonio Rally". They'll probably end up on http://www.deanforsatx.org as well whenever they get around to updating. I'm getting better at promoting topical photos like these and Camp HackNSlash...:wink:
