Okay, so I usually don't like to try and toot my own horn too loudly, but WE WON! Black Magic Rollercoaster's BEASTMASTER won the contest! http://blog.filmmakingfrenzy.com/2008/02/rewind-kindly-winners-announced.html Hooray for us! Even, dare I say it? Hooray for Me! Yes, I was in it, I played an evil warlord/magician. It featured a Clydesdale, a ball python, a dove, a ferret, at least one cat, a tiger-dog, a six year old boy, and me! among many, many others (a Danzig look-alike, for example). Speaking of cats, uh, nevermind... Congratulations, David. It's always GREAT news when one of our own pulls off something magnificent and otherwise remarkable. Good job. The film was funny as hell.

A year ago, I had only been in one movie, Death Proof. Thomas turned in "the most disqualified video" for his first video contest at the Alamo Drafthouse. What a year... The writer, Joel, is the man in that video with the red beard. I'll pass on the remarks; it'll please Thomas and Joel. David, my landlord doesn't allow pets
