When someone I know from Rocky Horror circles passes away, I tend to get nostalgic and start digging through old photo galleries. These are some OLD school pictures of Los Bastardos from September 1st, 2001 at the Forum Theatre in Arlington. It was the very first night I ever saw Leah perform (she was running spotlights more often at this point in time). I don't know exactly when she first started performing as Magenta, but it couldn't have been more than a couple months previous to this. The casting up there was rather... rigid... at the time, as exemplified by the Gwen + Erin monopoly on playing Janet and Columbia. From Daniel's bio on the LB web site, it appears that his first night ever seeing Rocky Horror was two months before this show.

P.S. One amusing thing is that the gentleman in the Magenta costume at the beginning was actually Dwayne, the theatre manager.
