Hey y'all. I'm the girl who dressed as Columbia at the Sat. night (Nov. 1)halloween performance. I'm really inerested in joining and doing some tech stuff. Hopefully someday I could perform, but tech is cool. Um, just let me know what's going on with that cause I could come down about every other weekend to help out.

Just because she had a good costume, she doesn't work her ass off to try and do everything perfectly, and this is nothing against her, I think she is cool, but still John. I work my ass off and just cause someone has a great costume, doesn't mean that they work at it like we do.

i just want to say that i dont understand why as a new cast member ive been trying to work with people to get training and have not been worked with. then there is the sudden rush to get this new person trained. I have at least 10 nights of floor tech. no offense intended. that is all i have to say on this subject.

Woah, y'all. I don't really care if I perfrom or do tech. I just want to be involved cause it looks like y'all have lots of fun doing the shows. Yeah, the costume was good but it's cause my grandmother helped me and we worked on it a month. I don't have any of Columbia's other costumes, but I could start working on them now and by the time I was ready to perform, then I'd have them.
I don't want any of y'all to be getting defensive. I'm not going to steal anybody's part. I just want to come down every other weekend or so and help out. I might decide I like tech better and only perform if nobody else could. Who knows. So, just give me a chance and I'll work my ass off to get the tech stuff right before I even think about asking to perform. Okay. :wink:

hi
you probably won't see me around much, but i'm on the boards. you've gotta take everyone with a grain of salt.
to get started in cast, talk to the tech directors, bobbi and alex. they can teach you tech and get you aquainted with the behind the scenes stuff with cast. you'll get a chance to watch the cast some more and get used to the actor's blocking or where they're supposed to be and when. after you've done tech for a while, you'll have an idea of what character you'd like to play and where they should be at what time. then you talk to the cast director about training for the part. they hook you up with a cast member that can teach you the details of the part and more blocking.
basically now, though, get to know the cast members and have fun. don't get wrapped up in all the drama. it helps your sanity. i'm outtie

dude, ian, give me a call tonight at sarahs. i have not been at all busy and i am more than happy to train you for anything. i am training chad tonight and i can work in 8 or 9 more people if need be. that stands for anyone else. i have no problem with training people and i completely encourage it. get sarahs digits from the cast phone list.
