Same here. My roommate's car was not so lucky, but as Renn and I both said, thank goodness we couldn't find good parking yesterday.

There was a lagoon in our front yard Tuesday and Wednesday. It's gone now. Didn't reach the house. Nice to know our new roof doesn't leak! James worked in Austin and environs Wednesday and one place he delivered a box to near Georgetown aid they'd had 14 inches of water in their offices the day before. Navigating all thw mud was tricky but it went okay.

Discovered a leak from the base of a wall between the kitchen and garage. I thought I'd noticed something in that area before, but the biblical rains made it much more obvious. One more thing to add to the long long list of handyman type items to address. Actually went out roller skating (like usual) on Tuesday night, and on the way back passed an abandoned sports car in a flooded intersection on Anderson Mill. Fun.
