Today would be Lucille Ball's 96th birthday. She was one of the best comediennes ever. :)

Everyone should list their favorite movies because I need to build up my collection. Just so you know, "Sunshine" which is out right now is the most awfullest movie ever--don't see it. I couldn't even finish it.

So yeah, 3 random things. But post your favorite movies. It's something fun to do. :D

Mine would be Tron, Logan's Run, and The Fifth Element.

Clockwork Orange is up there too but everyone should know about that movie, heheh.

(psst, hey guys, I get back to Texas on the 15th)

I hated it. Just not my type, I guess. It didn't help that I was already not in a movie mood. So don't call my taste shitty, X!

Haven't seen Sunshine yet, so I'll reserve judgement.

Hmm. Favorite movies, eh? That's a tough one. Favorite as in "I really loved that movie when I saw it", or "I can watch it over and over and over"? There's a difference, at least for me. And me being me, it would be hard to do without categorizing: favorite comedy, drama, horror, sci-fi, etc. I might even have to subcategorize, too: favorite stupid comedy, physical comedy, wry, dark; psychological horror, slasher horror, yada yada yada...

Let's see what I can come up with on the fly. Um...
Airplane! (one of the most quotable comedies of all time)
Spider-Man 2 (there's just something about it)
A Certain Kind of Death (amazing documentary, but NOT for the squeamish)
The Time of Their Lives (best Abbot & Costello movie. Period.)

I'm also a fan of classics like the Topper movies, the Universal Pictures monster classics (e.g., The Bride of Frankenstein), but not so much the romantic drama stuff. I am, after all, a dude. Stop laughing.

Yes.

Heck yes. I like that way better than the actual movie. But where was the part about the burned up man chasing everyone and killing most of the crew?

Sounds kinda like Event Horizon. Wow. Talk about a movie that could have been good, but missed the mark. It turned into Hellraiser in Space. Crap.
