I am thinking of starting to dress up for Rocky (skirts, lipstick, etc). However, this is a bit of a problem: I am a very large man. Does anyone know of a site I can find skirts and such for very large sizes?

Womanwithin.com has some very affordable and cool plus size women's clothing. You may also want to try Lane Bryant and Torrid (I think these both have websites).

As a plus sized woman...
I shop at Layne Bryant, Torrid, Cato, Avenue, Maurice's and Catherine's. I have gotten at least one piece of Rocky costuming from each of those stores at some point, or picked up something that I later used in Rocky.

I also like to go through the small plus size areas in Ross and Goodwill. I sew, though, so I've altered some stuff. I made a dress into a skirt, for example, and I dye clothes when the mood strikes me. I turned one cute little white dress purple and I wear it at Rocky exclusively when I'm doing tech. Being handy with a machine or needle and thread opens up your possibilities considerably.

As far as shoes, Avenue (and Payless if you're lucky) carry heels in up to, like, a women's thirteen wide width. That's only a men's 11 I believe.

I hope this helps, and welcome to the plight of plus sized women everywhere.

Venus Envy Consignments off of Anderson :) you'll love it. they're in the process of moving into the place so not all of there stuff is there, but they have a pretty good selection of costume-y pieces already. Good Luck!
